- All permanents on the battlefield.
- Puppeteer Clique does not have a -1/-1 counter on it.
Steps
How does this combo work?
- 1Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Puppeteer Clique, adding
. - 2When Puppeteer Clique dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it to the battlefield from your graveyard with a -1/-1 counter on it.
- 3When Puppeteer Clique enters the battlefield, it triggers, putting target creature card from an opponent's graveyard onto the battlefield under your control.
- 4Activate Quillspike by paying and removing the -1/-1 counter from Puppeteer Clique, giving Quillspike +3/+3 until end of turn.
- 5Repeat.
- 6You may also sacrifice the creature put under your control by Puppeteer Clique during each iteration to get infinite colored mana.
