Steps
  1. Activate the creature by tapping it, creating a 1/1 Elf Warrior creature token.
  2. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the Elf Warrior token, adding one mana of any color.
  3. The creature with Thornbite Staff equipped triggers, untapping itself.
  4. Repeat.
