Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Lesser Masticore, adding one mana of any color. |
2 | When Lesser Masticore dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it. |
3 | When Lesser Masticore enters the battlefield, Tribute to the World Tree triggers, putting two +1/+1 counters on Lesser Masticore . |
4 | Repeat. |
