How does this combo work?
1 | At the beginning of your combat phase, Helm of the Host triggers, creating a token copy of Kodama of the East Tree that isn't legendary. |
2 | Play Azorius Chancery. |
3 | Kodama of the East Tree, the Kodama of the East Tree token, and Azorius Chancery trigger. |
4 | Resolve the Kodama of the East Tree token's trigger, choosing not to put anything from your hand onto the battlefield. |
5 | Resolve the Azorius Chancery trigger, returning it to your hand. |
6 | Resolve the Kodama of the East Tree trigger, putting Azorius Chancery onto the battlefield. |
7 | The Kodama of the East Tree token and Azorius Chancery trigger. |
8 | Resolve the Azorius Chancery trigger, returning it to your hand. |
