How does this combo work?

2 | The persist ability triggers, returning that creature to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter. |
3 | Ivy Lane Denizen and Blasting Station trigger. |
4 | Resolve Ivy Lane Denizen's trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on the persist creature. |
5 | Resolve Blasting Station's trigger, untapping it. |
6 | Resolve the ability from step 1, dealing 1 damage to any target. |
7 | Repeat. |
