Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Contagion Engine by paying and tapping it. |
2 | Kurkesh triggers, choose not to pay for the trigger. |
3 | Resolve the Contagion Engine ability, putting two charge counters on Magistrate's Scepter. |
4 | Activate Magistrate's Scepter's second ability by tapping it and removing three charge counters from it. |
5 | Kurkesh triggers, causing you to pay to copy Magistrate's Scepter's ability. |
6 | Resolve both Magistrate Scepter abilities, causing you to take two extra turns after this one. |
7 | Move to your next turn. |
8 | Activate Magistrate's Scepter's first ability by paying and tapping it. |
9 | Kurkesh triggers, choose not to pay for the trigger. |
10 | Resolve the Magistrate Scepter ability, putting a charge counter on it. |
11 | Move to your next turn. |
12 | Repeat. |
