What do I need to start this combo?
- Wurmcoil Engine in your graveyard.
- Goblin Welder and Thornbite Staff on the battlefield.
- Thornbite Staff attached to Goblin Welder. You control a nontoken artifact creature. Goblin Welder does not have summoning sickness.
Steps
How does this combo work?
- 1Tap Goblin Welder, targeting the artifact creature on the battlefield and Wurmcoil Engine in your graveyard.
- 2The artifact creature is sacrificed and Wurmcoil Engine enters the battlefield.
- 3Goblin Welder triggers, untapping itself.
- 4Activate Goblin Welder again, targeting the artifact creature in your graveyard and Wurmcoil Engine on the battlefield.
- 5The artifact creature returns to the battlefield and Wurmcoil Engine is sacrificed.
- 6Goblin Welder triggers, untapping itself.
- 7Wurmcoil Engine triggers, creating 2 Wurm creature tokens.
- 8Repeat for infinite creature tokens.
