Steps

1. Cast Irenicus's Vile Duplication by paying , creating a token copy of Kodama of the East Tree that isn't legendary.
2. Play Izzet Boilerworks.
3. Kodama of the East Tree, the Kodama of the East Tree token, and Izzet Boilerworks trigger.
4. Resolve the Kodama of the East Tree token's trigger, choosing not to put anything from your hand onto the battlefield.
5. Resolve the Izzet Boilerworks trigger, returning it to your hand.
6. Resolve the Kodama of the East Tree trigger, putting Izzet Boilerworks onto the battlefield.
7. The Kodama of the East Tree token and Izzet Boilerworks trigger.
8. Resolve the Izzet Boilerworks trigger, returning it to your hand.
9. Resolve the Kodama of the East Tree token's trigger, putting Izzet Boilerworks onto the battlefield.

15. Resolve the token Kodama of the East Tree trigger, choosing not to put anything from your hand onto the battlefield.
16. Resolve the Izzet Boilerworks trigger, returning it to your hand from the battlefield.
17. Resolve the nontoken Kodama of the East Tree trigger, putting Izzet Boilerworks from your hand onto the battlefield.
