Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Cast the blue permanent card in your hand by paying 2 life. |
2 | Defiler of Dreams and Aetherflux Reservoir triggers. |
3 | Resolve the Defiler of Dreams trigger, causing you to draw a card. |
4 | Resolve the Aetherflux Reservoir trigger, causing you to gain 1 life for each spell you've cast before it this turn. |
5 | The blue permanent enters the battlefield, triggering Cloudstone Curio, returning another nontoken nonartifact blue permanent with mana cost from the battlefield to your hand. |
6 | Repeat until you have an empty library. |
7 | Activate Aetherflux Reservoir by paying fifty life, dealing fifty damage to any target. |
8 | Repeat step 7 as many times as desired. |
