This deck's filled with as many powerful mono-white flyers as possible, since that's exactly what <span class="edhrecp__link"><a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Momo, Friendly Flier" href="#" target="_blank">Momo, Friendly Flier</a><span class="edhrecp__link-image"></span></span> likes to surround himself with.</p>

<p>Soaring in from the upcoming <em><a href="https://edhrec.com/sets/tla">Avatar: The Last Airbender</a></em> main set, it's none other than <span class="edhrecp__link"><a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Momo, Friendly Flier" href="#" target="_blank">Momo, Friendly Flier</a><span class="edhrecp__link-image"></span></span>! For only one mana, you get a creature that reduces the cost of the first flier you cast each turn. Plus, Momo temporarily grows whenever a creature with flying enters under your control.</p>
<h2>Key Cards for Momo, Friendly Flier</h2>
<p>With those abilities in mind, let's take a look at some of the best cards that make this flying-centric strategy truly take off.</p>
<h3>Flying Support</h3>

If you build up your board well enough, this legend could only cost you one mana, and protect the rest of your board once it's on the field.</p>
<p><span class="edhrecp__link"><a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Steel-Plume Marshal" href="#" target="_blank">Steel-Plume Marshal</a><span class="edhrecp__link-image"></span></span>: Since your board will be filled with flying creatures, you'll likely be able to swing over your opponents' defenses. So, adding +2/+2 to your team ensures that when you move to combat, it's not going to be fun for the rest of the table.</p>
<p><span class="edhrecp__link"><a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Kangee&#039;s Lieutenant" href="#" target="_blank">Kangee&#039;s Lieutenant</a><span class="edhrecp__link-image"></span></span>: Only three mana for the attack buff this creature offers is a great rate. However, it also has that encore ability you can utilize from the graveyard to possibly jumpstart closing out a game.</p>

<p><span class="edhrecp__link"><a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Aerial Assault" href="#" target="_blank">Aerial Assault</a><span class="edhrecp__link-image"></span></span>: Every deck needs removal, and even though this spell's targets are a little narrow, that life gain effect could set you outside of killing range during a match.</p>
<p><span class="edhrecp__link"><a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Rally of Wings" href="#" target="_blank">Rally of Wings</a><span class="edhrecp__link-image"></span></span>: While you're flying over your foes' armies, this combat trick could really catch people off guard. Not only does it power up your team, but it also leaves them back as blockers.</p>
<p><span class="edhrecp__link"><a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Jackdaw Savior" href="#" target="_blank">Jackdaw Savior</a><span class="edhrecp__link-image"></span></span>: This little Bird will be sure to save the majority of your creatures as they get lost during the game. However, another great use for this card is its ability to consistently bring back your one-mana commander from the graveyard if someone removes it.</p>
<h3>Soaring Card Advantage</h3>

Drawing cards as you build out your board is exactly what'll keep this deck's game plan moving.</p>
<p><span class="edhrecp__link"><a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Aerial Extortionist" href="#" target="_blank">Aerial Extortionist</a><span class="edhrecp__link-image"></span></span>: I'm a little blown away by this creature, because it counts as both removal and card advantage. Plus, it works especially well against all the commanders that enjoy casting spells from exile or their graveyard.</p>
<p><span class="edhrecp__link"><a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Flumph" href="#" target="_blank">Flumph</a><span class="edhrecp__link-image"></span></span>: Here's a creature that I run in several of my decks, and it puts in a whole lot of work. All you need to do is tell the table "Hey, attack me with a random creature, I'll block it with Flumph, and we'll both draw a card." Most of the time, it works every time!</p>

Swinging at each one of your opponents with at least two fliers could draw you some of the best creatures off the top of your library every turn.</p>
<p><span class="edhrecp__link"><a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Escarpment Fortress" href="#" target="_blank">Escarpment Fortress</a><span class="edhrecp__link-image"></span></span>: Pairing a power buff with a way to draw an additional card on your turn makes this Wall perfect for the deck. Plus, it's great for defending your life total, which assists you with swinging all out during combat.</p>
<p><span class="edhrecp__link"><a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Court of Grace" href="#" target="_blank">Court of Grace</a><span class="edhrecp__link-image"></span></span>: Adding the monarchy to the game can be dangerous for some decks, since it could be hard to get back if you don't have a wide board, or evasion. This won't be a problem for Momo.</p>
<h3>Ramp on Wings</h3>

Which means that you can start your mana ramping as soon as possible.</p>
<p><span class="edhrecp__link"><a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Cartographer&#039;s Hawk" href="#" target="_blank">Cartographer&#039;s Hawk</a><span class="edhrecp__link-image"></span></span>: One of the drawbacks for this card has always been the fact that you need to bounce it back to your hand after it hits an opponent. However, casting it again shouldn't be much of an issue since you can get it back out for only one mana.</p>
<p><span class="edhrecp__link"><a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Ornithopter of Paradise" href="#" target="_blank">Ornithopter of Paradise</a><span class="edhrecp__link-image"></span></span>: This card is already a staple in the format, but in this deck, it gets even better. Since you can buff it up with all of the anthem effects in the 99, you could start sending this mana dork into combat in the late game.</p>
<h3>Flying Finishers</h3>

Plus, when you pair this with all the flying-matters cards in the deck, it gets all the more formidable to deal with.</p>
<p><span class="edhrecp__link"><a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Skyhunter Strike Force" href="#" target="_blank">Skyhunter Strike Force</a><span class="edhrecp__link-image"></span></span>: Here's a card that can give your whole board up to +3/+3 during attacks. When you think about all the evasive creatures you already have in the list, that could really lower the table's life totals.</p>
<p><span class="edhrecp__link"><a class="edhrecp__link-a" content="Paladin Class" href="#" target="_blank">Paladin Class</a><span class="edhrecp__link-image"></span></span>: Sure, this enchantment might not look like a finisher. But if you hold up that last level until you're ready to do a full out attack, it could just take everyone else out with one swing.</p>
