Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | During your precombat main phase, cast Not Dead After All by paying , targeting Xiahou Dun. |
2 | Activate Xiahou Dun by sacrificing it, targeting Not Dead After All. |
3 | When Xiahou Dun dies, it and Pitiless Plunderer triggers, as well as any Wicked Roles that were attached to Xiahou Dun. |
4 | Resolve the Wicked Role trigger(s), if applicable, causing each opponent to lose that much life. |
5 | Resolve the Pitiless Plunderer trigger, creating a Treasure token. |
6 | Resolve the Xiahou Dun trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a Wicked Role token attached to it. |
7 | Resolve the Xiahou Dun ability from step 2, returning Not Dead After All from your graveyard to your hand. |
8 | Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding . |
9 | Repeat. |
