Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing a persist creature that doesn't have a -1/-1 counter on it. |
2 | When the creature dies, its persist ability and Long Feng trigger. |
3 | Resolve the Long Feng trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on the other persist creature. |
4 | Resolve the persist trigger, returning the creature from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it. |
5 | Repeat. |
